Projects:
The mid-term project is a model and its visualisation. Students must provide a2 poster of work and submit to blog a presentation including:
- necessary information about the prototype building (plans, facades, sections, masterplans, photos)
- model building steps (screenshots with a short list of used commands)
- final renders
Final projects can be a model viewed through an animated camera (other animation is optional) using techniques covered in class. The animations should be about 30 seconds (they can be longer or shorter), delivered as AVI movie, either 320 x 240 or 640 x 480, plus 4 to 6 hi-res scene images in JPEG format. Also a2 poster and presentation are required.
Students are encouraged to storyboard all projects and connect with instructor during lab times, or class (time permitting).
Student grades will be based on projects
All final projects are due on or before the due date, which is the final class session. No extensions or incompletes will be given. Your entire grade is based on the projects turned in.
